Networking is something that many of us dread. But the value of a good network and what it can unlock is something that I seem to find myself talking to people about a lot these days.
And to be honest, I am a firm believer that my own network has made me a better version of myself - better informed, more confident, more marketable and importantly for me personally, more excited about what I do today... and where that could be taking me tomorrow.
I feel the same way about our amazing online legal and business solutions hub, elXtr. And I love seeing how elXtr makes a difference to so many entrepreneurs, startups and small businesses too.
At elXtr, we believe in the power of a great network. We believe that businesses start, develop, grow best and endure, where they are well-supported, with the right solutions and tools at their finger-tips, within their control. We also know first-hand just how much of a struggle it can be when you don’t ask for support or can’t find the right people or the means to make your ambitions happen.
That’s why our public subscription costs are less than the price of a cup of coffee or two a month, so that everyone can have the benefit of what lies within our fantastic hub.
One of the benefits of elXtr is that we partner with JournoLink, who are another really great business solution provider. They provide businesses with a DIY PR platform, connecting them with thousands of journalists, providing a unique opportunity for forging brand awareness and business profile and of course, networking.
We've had great fun partnering with JournoLink and collaborating on all sorts of things this year, including #TheGame. I can't think of anyone better to provide networking tips than their co-founder, Peter Ibbetson. You can find these expert tips in the linked article and it's well worth the read.
You're on our blog and updates site, which is hosted by elXtr. elXtr is a leading digital hub powered by the award-winning lawyers at LHS Solicitors LLP, bringing you real law, made easy. Find out more about elXtr here.

Every single company needs to build relationships to be able to grow, to gain a good profile and to cement a strong reputation in the industry. Small businesses should certainly not underestimate the power of the network to boost their project. Indeed, networking is the key. Good partnerships will bring so much to your business. Visibility, reputation, value, good advice, support and much more. You have everything to gain by networking. Yet despite this, many startups and small businesses put it on the back burner. Where should I start? How do I draw attention to my project?
